Wars have occurred throughout the ages but despite the horror, pain and suffering they bring, each one has provided medical and surgical advancements. Discover major developments that have not only improved care for the battlefield casualty’s but have been adopted by the civilian medical community and are in use in our local hospitals and trauma centres today. These include treatments such as X-rays and blood transfusions, wound care and plastic surgery.
Your ticket also includes a delicious afternoon tea, kindly provided by the Friends of Hartlebury Castle and the Hurd Library.
