Join us on Bank Holiday Monday 31 May to join our teddy bear friends for some fun and games around Hartlebury Castle!
Book a storytelling session – Hear all about where teddies go when their children are asleep! Ian Craigan will be telling ‘Adventures on Top Toy Island’ with with props and puppets to bring the stories to life. These sessions will take place outside in good weather, indoors if it rains.
More fun for families
Join a teddy bear hunt around the Castle, and craft your own jumping Jack teddy – children can pick up a craft bag to make their teddy in our orchard rooms or take home to make! A session coordinator will oversee activities and sanitise the area and equipment between users.
Marvel at intricate costume creation, in a wonderful display of Barbie dolls dressed in period outfits, highlighting fashion changes from 1066-1980s. Find out more about the exhibition here.
Explore the Castle’s beautiful grounds, and enjoy the Castle and Museum’s amazing exhibitions and displays. Refreshments will be available in the Carriage Circle too, to enjoy as you take part in our family activities throughout the day.
There are timed pre-booked sessions running between 11am – 4pm. Pre-booked sessions start at 11.30am and finish at 2pm (30 min sessions: 11.30 -12; 12.20 -12.50; 1.20-1.40; 2-2.30).
Please note: Pre-booking is essential for both general visits and for sessions to avoid disappointment as limited spaces are available. Visitor numbers will be capped to maintain distancing. All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled due to Covid-19 and government guidelines.
