As you explore each room and corner of the Bishop’s Palace\, figure out what mischief\, games and adventures they’ve been getting up to during their stay. \nIf you’re visiting from Tuesday 31st March to Thursday 2nd April\, you can make a bunny marionette puppet to join you on your hunt. Complete with infantry\, artillery and cavalry troops\, the Castle attempts to hold out for the King one final time in a thrilling Civil War re-enactment – including a march to the site that you can follow behind. \nOther highlights to immerse yourself in include: \n\nMeet wonderful 17th century reenactors as the Castle is taken over by soldiers and transformed into a Royalist garrison (as it really was during the Civil War)! Finish your evening from the comfort of your own camping chair as you keep an eye out for more brilliant bats! \nCan’t make this date? Try Friday 18th September instead! \nTickets – on sale later this year\nThis is a fundraising event for Hartlebury Castle Trust.
