Join us for a special outdoor hunt this Halloween season – will you find tricks or treats?

We’ve hidden lots of miniature pumpkins around the Castle grounds – see if you can collect the eight special pumpkins that spell out our secret word (and watch out for decoys)!

Exchange them for a full-sized version from our Pumpkin Patch and find out what spooky or sweet things are hidden inside your haul…

Meet colourful scarecrow character Jackie O’Lantern, Protector of the Pumpkins, and enjoy Halloween-themed storytelling.

Plus, take part in Pumpkin Carving in the Medieval Great Hall – create a design for that carefully chosen pumpkin, scoop out the seeds, and have one of our friendly carvers bring your ideas to life.

You can also explore the Bishop’s Palace dressed spookily for Halloween and discover all our wonderfully decorated pumpkins and pumpkin-headed scarecrows!

Children: £10 (includes a pumpkin to be carved by the Castle team)

Adults: £6

Online pre-booking only. £1.50 booking fee per transaction.

All tickets include admission to the Bishop’s Palace and Grounds. Worcestershire County Museum is closed on this day.

Disclaimer: you may find creepy crawlies on this hunt!

All children are welcome on the hunt, but it is best suited to those aged 4 and over. Adults need to accompany children (but please leave the fun of picking up pumpkins to the little ones!)

The pop-up café will be open selling hot drinks and treats.

If your child has additional needs, please get in touch so we can give them the best possible experience. This includes if they require a level access route. Please email Chantel in advance at events@hartleburycastle.com.

Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking and we will endeavour to cater for these. For tickets bought later than 24 hours before the session, we cannot guarantee that these requirements can be catered for.
