A visit to Hartlebury Castle includes opportunities to explore the former Bishops Palace, official home to the Bishop of Worcester for over 1000 years, see grand State Rooms and discover fascinating collections and stories in Worcestershire County Museum. A stroll around the grounds offers beautiful views of the moat and the Castle. We are located just 20 minutes away from M5 and M42, providing an ideal location for a day out in Worcestershire with your group.

For visiting groups we offer coach parking, special group menus in the Café, and free entry for your coach driver.

Tickets provide admission to the whole Hartlebury Castle site. To receive these discounted prices your group must be a minimum of 10 people and your visit must be pre-booked.

Special Interest Tours

Hurd Library Tours

We offer private tours of the Hurd Library and Bishops’ Palace for pre-booked groups. Tours cost £18.50 per person and include access to the whole Castle site, including the County Museum and grounds before and after your tour. Collections Centre Tours
Museums Worcestershire offer pre-booked groups a special behind-the-scenes tour of Museums Worcestershire’s Collections Centre, our off-site store containing thousands of objects which we are unable to display in our museums. Refreshments

The Hartlebury Castle Café welcomes groups, offering a range of tasty homemade meals and snacks and a discounted group menu. The café can seat up to 55 people indoors and also has a lovely outdoor seating area.

Coach or Car
Hartlebury Castle offers free coach and car parking.  We are located off the A449 in the village of Hartlebury, just 20 minutes from both the M42 (Junction 1) and M5 (Junction 6).  Post Code: DY11 7XZ

Train
Train: Hartlebury Railway Station is a 15-20 minute walk from Hartlebury Castle, with hourly trains from Birmingham and Worcester.
Please be aware there is no public transport on Sundays. On Sundays, the nearest Railway Station is Kidderminster, which is 15 minutes away by car.
