Belgian Beer Bash with TripelB (Fundraising Event)

The Belgian Beer Bash is back for 2026!
Expect delicious drinks, fantastic music and tasty food for a summer pub atmosphere in the beautiful outdoor space at Hartlebury Castle. Kick back and relax with friends or family in our historic setting, get competitive with ‘pub’ games, lawn games and our Board Game Station, and enjoy the third iteration of this exciting event.
As ever, we present the Belgian Beer Bash working with the wonderful TripelB Belgian Beer Café Worcester and in collaboration with Belgian breweries Chouffe, Vedett, Rodenbach and Palm, and Trappist brewery La Trappe.
Choose from a selection of beers at the Chouffe, Swinkels and TripelB bars as live music from talented bands creates a fun, chilled experience – ideal for a summer weekend. Don’t forget to browse our stalls for great gifts, and expect giveaways too…

Wattle & Riff (back for 2026): 12.30pm-2.30pm
Stripped-down, emotional and groove-driven; think Mississippi Delta meets Outback ruggedness. With Darren Mather and Gazza T Jones, joined on occasions by Sam Benson (bass/guitar) and Phil Brown (drums and percussion), Wattle & Riff are a New Tradition Blues / Country Blues / Acoustic Soul combo with a rustic texture and pure suburban musical grit.
Maggie Page (The Peaky Blondie) : 3pm-5pm
Maggie is an established, five-star vocalist based in the Midlands. With a lifelong background in musical theatre performance and direction, Maggie brings vocal versatility and personality to every stage. Since 2020, she has focused on solo performances featuring music from the 1920s jazz and swing era through to modern pop, entertaining audiences at corporate, private, charity, and community events across the UK.
The Rude Awakening: 5.30pm-8pm
The Rude Awakening are a Midlands based synthpop duo consisting of Bridget Gray and Johnny Normal. They perform 1980s electro and new wave classics including those of Depeche Mode, Ultravox, New Order, Erasure, Blondie, The Human League, Gary Numan, OMD, Japan, Hazel O’Connor, Duran Duran, Visage, Eurythmics, Tears for Fears, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, and more.
Food
The Van Waffle Company will have delicious Belgian waffles on offer with a variety of toppings like Millionaire’s Shortbread and Banoffle, served freshly-made from Vincent van Waffle, their fabulous trailer!
Country House Occasions will be taking orders for tasty burgers and slow-roasted pulled pork baps (including a vegan spicy bean burger and gluten free options), cooked while you wait to complement your beer. They will also be bringing Belgium inspired Ploughman’s boxes (vegan option available).
You can tuck into ice cream, popcorn, snacks and soft drinks from the Hartlebury Castle snack station if you’ve still got room afterwards!
Games
Challenge each other to a game from our Board Game Station! Borrow a ‘pub game’, puzzle, quiz game, brain teaser, cards, party game or classic board game, play it with your group – then bring it back and borrow another. Perfect for whiling away a summer afternoon outdoors with great company and great drinks.
Feel free to bring along your own board games to play too!
Plus, get stuck into lawn games, including:

- Giant dominoes

You can also browse our volunteers’ plant stall, find unique wooden items like hand-turned bowls and wooden decorations from Sandy Bridger Woodturner, and shop for local produce (such as the award-winning Emily’s Jams), summer gifts for all ages, novelty socks, toys and more from the Castle stall.
Plus, look out for the raffle and the second-hand bookstand!

This is a fundraising event for Hartlebury Castle Trust.
£6 entry for the Belgian Beer Bash (beer and food not included). Online booking required.
£1.50 booking fee per transaction.
Free for Under 2s but children aged 2 and over will require a ticket.

No food or drink is allowed to be brought onto site. There will be free water available and food and drink to buy on the day.
Families with children are welcome. Well-behaved dogs are welcome if kept on a short lead.
Plan ahead and find out how to get here! Thinking of coming via public transport? Hartlebury Train Station is a 15-20 minute walk away, with hourly trains to Birmingham and Worcester which run into the late evening after the event.
