ROAD CLOSURE IN HARTLEBURY – DIVERSION ROUTE

Directions due to Hartlebury Road/B4193 partial road closure: Wednesday 28th-Friday 30th October

This road closure will affect travel from Stourport. The closure begins on the Stourport side of the Castle driveway. This is in effect from approximately  7.30am to 4pm.

If approaching from Kidderminster or Worcester on the A449, your journey will not be affected. On returning to Kidderminster from Hartlebury Castle, please leave additional time for your journey due to the volume of traffic.

Worcestershire County Council Highways have assured us that visitors will have no issues accessing the Castle after following the diversion route. We look forward to welcoming you to our Halloween half-term events.

Directions

From the Gilgal/A451 in Stourport:

  1. Keep left to continue onto Worcester Road/A4025
  2. At the roundabout, take the third exit to stay on Worcester Road/A4025
  3. At the Mitre Oak roundabout, take the first exit onto the A449
  5. Turn left onto Worcester Road, then take a slight left onto Waresley Road, which continues onto Quarry Bank
  6. Turn left onto the B4193/Rectory Lane
  7. Turn right onto Hartlebury Castle Driveway (listed as Museum on Google Maps)
